Only four books of Parveen shakir poetry were published in her life. Her first book of poetry “Khusbhoo” made her famous through the world. Her second “Sad-e-Barg”, dedicated to her mother. Mirza Ghalib:
Mirza Asadullah Baig was a great Urdu and Persian poet during the Mughal Empire. He used his pen-names of Ghalib and Asad. His honorific was Dabir-ul-Mulk, Najm-ud-Daula. His Persian Divan is at least five times longer than the urdu one but his fame reside on his poetry in Urdu. He died in Delhi. His house in old Delhi where he used to live once known as the Ghalib ki Haveli has now been turned into 'Ghalib Memorial'.
